Seeing the world through a child’s eyes can offer a clear, fresh perspective. Children tend to be open-minded and accepting, without the biases or fears that adults often carry as a result of life’s experiences. That openness sculpted the writing for this Little Pink Book series. When a woman with breast cancer can share in an open, honest and uncomplicated way with her family, everyone becomes part of the journey. Growing, learning, and coping with compassion all become part of that journey – making it easier for the women affected by breast cancer to focus on treatment and ultimate healing.

Women hold significant roles that impact, shape and mold children during the formative years of life. During those years and beyond, women are often at the forefront in providing comfort and guidance. This Little Pink Book series is dedicated to those significant women and the impact they have upon children’s lives.

Through unpretentious story lines and stick-art characters, this series radiates hope and courage during times of loss and uncertainty, while providing a pathway for communication and healing. Page by page, families, teachers and loved ones gain the insight and fortitude necessary to fight the fight together.
